Leviathan Dover Addams (he/him) was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota in April of 1998. He spent the whole of his childhood in the same house in the middle of nowhere, rural Stearns County, with his parents and a cat named Ty Gyrr (rest in peace, little buddy). Growing up and continuing through to the current day, art was one of the ways he could escape from his severe anxiety and depression. Elementary school art class was a refuge from the dreaded gym class he loathed as well as a place where he could flourish.
Leviathan is about to graduate with a major in studio arts and a minor in English writing. He is a silent but loyal advocate for the LGBTQ+ community and for animal rights, as an autistic gay trans man who really really loves cats. Like, a lot. His artwork often reflects what he is passionate about and what he is struggling with. Working in a variety of media to express these dark ideas, Leviathan isn’t really any one type of artist. Graphic designer, totally serious doodler, fanart maker, sculptor, repainter, photographer, he does it all.
